We offer a unique blend of personal training and health coaching, each tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients.
  • What should I wear and bring to a Pilates class?
    Comfort is essential in Pilates. Choose form-fitting, stretchable clothing that allows you to move freely and helps the instructor observe your posture and alignments. Be sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated—you can refill it here at the studio; we always have water available. Come with an open mind, prepared to learn and enjoy. Although there is a small restroom available for use, we recommend arriving dressed for the class to maximize your session time. We’ll take care of the rest, ensuring you have a rewarding Pilates experience.
  • Can I try a class before committing to a membership or package?
    Absolutely! We have 3 ways to get started. To begin, we invite you to a complimentary 30-minute chat, either in our studio or via Zoom. This session is an excellent chance for you to get acquainted with our space and the Pilates equipment and for us to address any questions or concerns you might have. It’s also an excellent opportunity for me to understand your fitness style and goals. If you’re looking to experience Pilates hands-on, you might consider our "First Timer" session. Priced at $77, this one-hour introductory class mixes conversation with exercise, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of Pilates and a feel for the studio atmosphere. Our New Client Intro package offers three sessions for $222 for those ready for a deeper engagement. This package is designed to lay a solid foundation in Pilates and help you determine how well it integrates with your overall training regimen.
  • What is Pilates, and how can it benefit me?
    Think of Pilates as your body’s architect. It’s a mindful form of exercise that strengthens your core, enhances flexibility, and improves overall body awareness. Beyond physical benefits, Pilates is a mental workout that hones your focus and elevates your mood. It’s ideal for anyone looking to fine-tune their body and mind.
  • What parking options are available at Pilates Sol?
    We understand that finding parking in dahntahn Pittsburgh, especially in the Cultural District, can be challenging. At Pilates Sol, we aim to make your visit as stress-free as possible by providing information on convenient parking solutions: Street Parking: Available street parking can be found near the studio; however, please be sure to check the parking signs as some restrictions apply, especially during the school year around arrival and dismissal times. Nearby Parking Lots or Garages: For additional convenience, several parking garages are located within a few blocks of our studio. The closest is Phil’s lot on 9th & Penn, which is a cash-only lot. Other nearby options include the garage on 9th & Liberty, the Cultural Trust Garage on 7th, the Convention Center garage on 10th Street, and the Bus Station Garage on 12th Street.
  • How do I schedule a session, and what is your cancellation policy?
    Scheduling a session with us is easy! You can book directly through our online booking system, or for even greater convenience, we highly recommend downloading our app. We understand that life can be unpredictable, so we offer a flexible cancellation policy. You can cancel your session up to 6 hours in advance without any penalty. This way, you can manage your schedule stress-free and never miss out on your Pilates time.
  • What are your membership and package options, and what do they include?
    At Pilates Sol, we offer flexible membership options to fit diverse lifestyles and needs. Our month-to-month membership is ideal for those seeking consistency and accountability in their Pilates practice. Members enjoy exclusive benefits such as personalized session videos, priority booking, and discounts on additional services. This plan requires a minimum three-month commitment and includes automatic monthly billing for ease and convenience. For those with more unpredictable schedules, perhaps due to frequent travel, our session packages may be the perfect fit. Valid for 60 days, these packages offer the flexibility to attend sessions as your schedule allows.
  • What types of classes do you offer, and are they suitable for beginners?
    At Pilates Sol, we ensure that our classes cater to all skill levels, especially beginners. Whether you choose to join us in the studio or prefer the convenience of an online session, you'll find Pilates to be exceptionally beginner-friendly. Each new client receives personalized guidance through the fundamentals of Pilates with utmost care and precision. We focus on building a solid foundation that allows you to comfortably progress to more advanced exercises at your own pace.
